Sober coaching is strength-based support for persons with addictions or in recovery from alcohol, substances or other addictive behaviors. Sober coaches help clients work through potentially challenging events such as: going to work, attending business meetings, special events, family gatherings, etc. while providing encouragement, accountability, insight, and understanding through their own personal experiences of recovery.

A great Sober coach is someone who is in recovery themselves; therefore understands what it takes to get sober and stay sober, sets appropriate and healthy boundaries, helps clients determine and reach realistic goals, assists clients with time management, finds sober activities and helps clients identify triggers that may lead to relapse.

Numerous tools and methods of coaching, goal setting, advocating, guiding and motivating are skillfully applied and utilized during clients time with the coach.

Fresh Starts Recovery services are available hourly, daily, weekly and monthly for a negotiated amount of time. Our services are also offered over the phone, zoom or skype video, and through face-to-face.

* Sober Companion----Some clients require or request more attention than just Safe sober transport. This is when our Sober Companion is an excellent option for sustaining sobriety. A sober companion resides at the client’s home 24/7 through the period of a contract—a week, a month, six months, whatever is deemed necessary. Our sober companions are in recovery themselves and can empathize with the challenges of early recovery and are uniquely aware of the behaviors and signs of a potential relapse, can intervene, and help with preventing relapse.

*Sober Coach--Recovery/Sober Coaches, provide support for people newly sober who are seeking assistance in early recovery. Sober Coaches provide encouragement, accountability, wisdom, and personal experience.  Coaching often implements the skills the client learned in treatment and translates those lessons into the real world. Our Coaches help clients identify slippery places,  potential dangers and assist in relapse prevention. The sole purpose of the coach is to care for and guide the client to a healthy and sober life. Coaching can be set up for just a few hours a week, for eight hours a day/7 days a week—the schedule is tailored to the client’s specific needs and individual goals.

*Safe Transport/Passage---Our specially trained Certified Recovery Specialist will discreetly accompany the client to and from treatment and/or back home, to and from appointments, important events, concerts, business meetings, etc.

*Segue Coach--- An individualized 2-4 week plan of action post-rehab/treatment, designed to assist clients on a one-to-one basis with their recovery as they transition from treatment back into their home environment. With the support and guidance of a Certified Recovery Specialist, the client will ease back into their lives with security during this vulnerable time of transition.
